इंद्रियें जें जें म्हणती I तें तेंचि जे पुरुष करिती I ते तरलेचि न तरती I विषयसिंधु II 348 II
जैसी नाव थडिये ठाकितां I जरी वरपडी होय दुर्वाता I तरी चुकलाही मागौता I अपावो पावे II 349 II
तैसीं प्राप्तेंही पुरुषें I इंद्रियें लाळिलीं जरी कौतुकें I तरी आक्रमिला जाण दुःखें I सांसारिकें II 350 II

"Lord Krishna said, those who promptly respond to the calling of their senses even though may appear to be sound, they are not. Just like toppling of boat by storm after having reached the shore is as damaging as had it sunk in the middle of the river, similarly the return of the Self Realized person to the mundane existence is inevitable if he starts responding to the calling of his senses again."
