"Following his Swa-dharma the person who utilizes his wealth wisely and ethically for a righteous cause without expecting any material gain in return, worship the Guru, cow and fire and performs rituals in fond remembrance of his forefathers, offers all his actions as a sacrifice to the Supreme Lord and then whatever is the outcome of his actions, he shares it with his family thus nullifying the demerits of the actions. Just like by consuming Amrut,a person suffering from a gruesome disease gets cured or a truly wise remains free of the illusions, similarly such person remains invisible to sins. And therefore whatever one earns by following his Swa-dharma should be used for the righteous cause and stay contented with the remaining. In this way Lord Krishna illustrated the importance of Swa-dharma.
Those who treat their body as their soul and cannot think of anything else other than the gratification of the senses as the very purpose of their life, these ignorant can't understand the significance of what it means to pursue the Swa-dharma diligently. Preparing food exclusively for the gratification of senses these ignorant in a way consume their sins in the form of food. The food is the means to offer sacrifice to the Supreme Lord. Everything done for the Swa-dharma to reach it's fruition is precious. Food is no ordinary thing. The means that sustains the world entire is the manifestation of Bramha itself."
