"As soon as Lord Krishna said this, suddenly the darkness of ignorance started dissolving. The magnificent and awe-inspiring manifestation of His divine nature and power stunned Arjun. Vishwaroop, the Divine Omnipotence and the ultimate truth of the universe is the ocean, His avatars, incarnations being the waves of this ocean, the physical world merely a mirage before the grand radiance of the divine opulence. Vishwaroop is the beginning-less canvas on which emerges the entire Creation. Lord Krishna revealed Himself as the transcendental all encompassing cosmic form to Arjun. In His childhood when young Lord Krishna ate mud, His foster mother, Yashoda went to Krishna and confronted Him. When Yashoda demanded that Krishna open his mouth. Upon looking inside, she was astonished to see not mud, but the entirety of the cosmic manifestation. She saw the fourteen bhuvanas, the sun, moon, and stars, the earth with its mountains and oceans, and all living creatures—including herself and the village of Vrindavan. When Supreme Lord Narayan touched Dhruva’s cheek with His conch, Dhruva attained transcendental KNOWLEDGE that even the Vedas find difficult to comprehend. Similarly enriched by the divine wisdom by Lord Krishna, Arjun transcended Maya. The unparalleled brilliance and radiance of Vishwaroop illuminated the entire cosmos. The miracle unfolding before his eyes engrossed Arjun in amazement. Just like even during the cosmic flood (pralay), while all other creatures and everything were destroyed, the Sage Markandeya, floating alone, is protected by his devotion, so privileged was Arjun to have witnessed Vishwaroop unfolding before his eyes. Arjun thought, the vast sky which was here, where did it go? Who took it away? Suddenly everything in Creation including the animate-inanimate and the
Panchamahabhootas disappeared. The directions, above-below ceased. Just like the dream disappears when one wakes up, similarly the Creation lost its form. Just like when the sun rises, it's radiance makes the light of moon and stars fade from view, similarly Vishwaroop swallowed the entire realm of Creation. The mind lost its mindfulness. The intellect lost consciousness. The pull of the senses towards the gratification reversed and turned inwards. It is a state of being, not a lack of activity, not about being motionless or numb, but rather a highly receptive and aware state that is both tranquil and intensely present. One pointedness of the concentration perfected enabling profound insight and deeper spiritual experience. As if the thoughts are stalled by the use of Mohanastra, the weapon that entices the mind, creates delusion. Arjun's entire attention was captivated by something truly astonishing. Enthralled in amazement, completely absorbed by a feeling of overwhelming surprise and wonder he saw the "Chaturbhuja" (four-armed) Lord Krishna, manifesting in different forms all around everywhere. Lord Krishna didn't let anything except Vishwaroop to remain just like in the rainy season the rain clouds envelope the skies entire, or at the time of dissolution of the world, the end of a cosmic age, and the destruction of the Creation, its radiance swallows the world entire. Absorbed in the Self Realization Arjun felt contentment from within and then with the inner vision behold the Vishwaroop. Lord Krishna thus fulfilled the wish of His beloved devotee to behold the unparalleled, grand Vishwaroop."
