जैसा अमृताचा निर्झरु I प्रसवे जयाचा जठरु I तया क्षुधेतृषेचा अडदरु I कहींचि नाहीं II 339 II
तैसें हृदय प्रसन्न होये I तरी दुःख कैचें कें आहें I तेथ आपैसी बुद्धि राहे I परमात्मरूपीं II 340 II
जैसा निर्वातींचा दीपु I सर्वथा नेणें कंपु I तैसा स्थिरबुद्धि स्वस्वरूपु I योगयुक्तु II 341 II

"Lord Krishna said to Arjun, for the person whose chitta is pleasantly satisfied all the time and impeccably without a blemish, the worldly sufferings don't disturb him. Within him is the free flowing spring of Amrut, the divine nectar, and so he doesn't have to bother about the hunger and thirst at all. How can sorrow dwell in the pleasantly satisfied heart? Just like a lamp at the calm breezeless place keeps burning stably without flicker, his intellect remains unruffled all the time absorbed within."
