म्हणोनि नैष्कर्म्य होआवें I तरी एथ तें न संभवे I आणि निषिद्ध केवीं राहाटावें I विचारीं पां II 77 II
म्हणोनि जें जें उचित I आणि अवसरें करूनि प्राप्त I तें कर्म हेतुरहित I आचरें तूं II 78 II
पार्था आणिकही एक I नेणसी तूं हें कवतिक  I जे ऐसें कर्म मोचक I आपैसें असे II 79 II
देखें अनुक्रमाधारें I स्वधर्मु जो आचरे I तो मोक्षु तेणें व्यापारें I निश्चित पावे II 80 II

"And therefore said Lord Krishna to Arjun, going beyond action and inaction as such is not pragmatic in the mundane world. But that doesn't mean one should be doing the actions that are prohibited by one's conscience and are considered immoral and unethical. Hence you should execute your prescribed duties to the best of your ability but without the attachment to its outcomes. Doing karma without expecting anything in return or performing actions or deeds with a selfless attitude, focusing on the act itself rather than anticipating any reward or benefit for yourself leads to liberation. Doing karma according to ones prescribed duties itself becomes means to his liberation."
