And therefore the wise should not pamper his senses. Because it is as dangerous as playfulness with a poisonous snake or to be overly friendly with a tiger or wilfully consuming the deadly poison halahal. The fire is lighted casually, but just like it becomes uncontrollable when turned into inferno, pampering of senses brings trouble. Truly if the body is not free to decide about anything on its own, why should we let the senses control it? Accumulating wealth working day and night, at times even by not following one's Swa-dharma, what is the use if its only purpose is to give the comfort to the body? In the end the gross body made up of five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and ether merge back into them again. If it is so then what is the use of tending to the body whole of your life? And therefore living for the sole purpose of giving comforts to the body is no less than suicidal. To avoid this, shift your focus from "the body is everything."
