गुरु बहुतांची माये I परि एकलौति होऊनि ठाये I तैसें करूनि आण वाये I कृपे तिये II 410 II
तया अनुरागा वेधु लावीं I एकपत्नीव्रत घेववीं I क्षेत्रसंन्यासु करवीं I लोभाकरवीं II 411 II
चतुर्दिक्षु वारा I न लाहे निघों बाहिरा I तैसा गुरुकृपे पांजिरा I मीचि होईन II 412 II
आपुलिया गुणांचीं लेणीं I करीन गुरुसेवे स्वामिणी I हें असो होईल गंवसणी I मीचि भक्तिसी II 413 II
गुरुस्नेहाचिये वृष्टी I मी पृथ्वी होईन तळवटीं I ऐसिया मनोरथांचिया सृष्टि I अनंता रची II 414 II
 
"Guru is mother to all, yet I would aspire to become foremost devoted of his disciples and become recipient of the divine grace Guru Krupa. Enamoured by my devotional love I would secure his singular focus on me, like found in ideal husband-wife relationship. Like Kshetra Sanyasi, a vow to stay put, to remain in a specific sacred place (a Kshetra) and never leave it, I would keep him rooted deeply only to me. Just like the wind doesn't transcend beyond the four directions, similarly I would cage the Guru Krupa. I would adorn the most elevated Guru Sewa with virtues goodness, purity, harmony. Cultivate a deep selfless devotion until it permeates all aspects of life. When blessings of Guru shower, I would stand below becoming the earth. In this way imagine countless situations as opportunities for 'Guru Sewa' (service to the Guru)."
